Introduction

What is the Golden Harvest Scheme (GHS)?

The Golden Harvest Scheme, brought to you by Tanishq, is one of the best Jewellery Purchase schemes ever, leading to an easy purchase of Tanishq Jewellery of your choice. Under the Golden harvest scheme, you can buy for more than what you pay because Tanishq will add a special discount at the end of the scheme.

What are the options available under Golden Harvest Scheme (GHS)?

Currently, there are two schemes to choose from in GHS – the 11+1 scheme and the 18 months extended scheme.

What is the 11 +1 scheme?

Under this scheme, you need to invest a fixed amount every month with Tanishq for 11 months. The 12th month installment is given as a discount at the time of purchase by Tanishq. Hence you can buy jewellery worth more than what you pay.

What is the 18 month scheme?

In the 18 month extended plan (delete) scheme, one has to invest for 18 months. The montly investement in this sceheme could be flexible. That is to say, one can choose how much he/she wants to invest each month. For example, one may start with a monthly payment of 2,000/-, increase it to 5,000/- the next month, and reduce it to 500/- the month after that. The flexibility and the duration of this scheme make it unique!

Enrollment Online

Why should I enroll in GHS?

Besides helping you plan your jewellery purchases in advance, it also helps in investing in small installments. Hence there is no burden to pay a huge amount at one go. Moreover, the discount at the end of the scheme makes it even more exciting.

Who can enroll?

Anybody above 18 years of age is eligible to enroll in GHS.

How do I enroll in GHS?

You can enroll for GHS either in any of the Tanishq showrooms or online.

How do I enroll in GHS online?

To enroll for GHS online, you need to register yourself by filling the registration form. Once that is done, you can fill in a small enrollment form with the details of GHS scheme you want to opt for, and pay the first installment online.

Can I register for online shopping, and enroll in GHS?

Yes, you can. The registration for online shopping and GHS is same. Hence, once registered for either of them, you can use the same user ID and password for online shopping as well as GHS.

Can I enroll now and pay later?

No, you need to pay the first instalment online before you are given an enrollment number.

If I have enrolled online, can I pay at the Tanishq showroom?

As of now, this provision is not in place. If you’ve registered online, you have to pay the installments online.

If I have enrolled at the showroom, can I pay online?

No, currently, the showroom customers have to pay the installments at the showroom itself. However, you can start another account online, and pay the installments for the same online.

Can I change my scheme after enrollment?

Once the first instalment is paid, you cannot change the scheme. You can also not change the installment value if you’ve chosen the 11+1 scheme.

Who is a nominee? Whom can I nominate?

In the event of the death of the account holder, the account is transferable only to the person who is nominated by the account holder in the enrolment form at the time of opening the account (nominee details).

Payment

What are the available payment options?

There are two payment options online:
- Pay every month using your debit/ credit card

Can I pay using all Debit / Credit Cards?

You can pay using any credit card. However, the debit cards of only the following banks could be used to pay online.

Maestro cards of SBI/ Citibank are not accepted on the website.

How can I see my payment status?

Whenever you want to see your scheme status, you can log in using your username and password and go to the‘My accounts’ page. You may click ‘view details’ to see the details of your account.

Do I get any payment alerts?

Yes, during enrollment, if you opt for getting SMS reminders, you’ll receive reminders and confirmation messages for all payments. This will happen only if you are not a DND/NDNC registered customer.

How do I know if my payment has been credited to my Golden Harvest account?

You’ll get a confirmation email & SMS (if opted for) confirming your payment. You can also go to ‘My accounts’ and see your payment details.

What happens if my payment fails?

If your payment fails due to any reason, you’ll not be led to the confirmation page. In this case, you need to try to pay again after some time.

Can I pay all installments at once?

Ideally, you have to pay installments every month. If there is a delay in payment of installments, the discount gets reduced proportionately. You can pay all installments at one go. The discount, however, gets generated (for redemption), only at the end of 12 months.

What happens if I miss paying installments?

It is advised that the installments be paid within 3 days of the due date. If you delay or miss paying installments, the discount shall be reduced proportionately to the effect of the number of days the payment is delayed by.

Redemption

What can I buy?

You can buy anything from a wide range of pure 22K jewellery to diamond 18 K jewellery and colored stones. Only Gold coins and Silver Coins cannot be purchased under the Golden Harvest scheme.

You can buy from any of the 130+ Tanishq showrooms across 80 cities. Please see the store locator for more details.

Can I buy online?

As of now, you cannot redeem your account online.

What do I need to carry at the time of redemption?

You need to carry your valid photo ID (viz.Ration Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ PAN Card/ Voter ID ) to the Tanishq Showroom you selected for redemption after the maturity date of the scheme.

It is also recommended that you carry a print-out of your account details page.

Can my friend / relative redeem on my behalf?

Only if you’ve nominated him/her at the time of enrollment, can he/she redeem the money on your behalf by giving a copy of a valid photo ID.

Till when can I redeem my account?

You are advised to redeem your account latest by 3 months post the maturity date.

Can I change the showroom selected for redemption?

Yes, post enrollment, you can change your showroom for redemption till 15 days before the maturity date of the account. After that, the account will be transferred to the showroom that is last selected.

Can I get to buy before the account gets matured?

You can buy jewellery worth the amount accumulated till date, but you lose out on the discount in case you buy before the maturity date. You need to send a request in case you want to do so.

Can I get a Cash refund?

No, cash refunds are not allowed in the Golden Harvest scheme.

What benefits do I get on enrolling in the Golden Harvest scheme besides the discount at the end of the scheme?
