All diamonds in a piece of Tanishq jewellery are from the same colour and clarity band as mentioned in the certificate, so you always get your money’s worth.
Our world-class diamond sourcing and grading processes are designed to ensure this. Expert gemologists certify our diamonds in their loose form (the most ideal way to grade diamonds) through a multi-check process before they are set in beautiful jewellery designs.

But a Tanishq diamond is.

Unlike synthetic diamonds that are lab-made, Tanishq diamonds are 100% natural and therefore, much rarer and more precious. At Tanishq, every diamond goes through multiple steps of stringent selection tests on state-of-the-art machines to ensure the authenticity of the diamond. Over 20 million diamonds are checked every year for their quality before they are set into our beautiful jewellery.

Sometimes you don’t get the diamonds you paid for.

Never at Tanishq.

The diamonds in our jewellery come with a 100% caratage-assurance. Which means there is zero deviation from the stated diamond content as given in our certificates, to ensure that you get exactly what you paid for.
If the certificate states that there are 2.912 carats in a design, we do not round it off and charge for 3 carats. We charge for exactly 2.912 carats. Whereas a prevalent malpractice in the industry is rounding off and charging for extra cents/carats.
Tanishq follows mm-based precision over the industry practice of sieve ranges. Every diamond of ours is weighed up to 3 decimal places to ensure highest accuracy before setting into jewellery for in-house produced products.

Some diamonds are not worth their weight.

Unlike a Tanishq diamond.

At Tanishq, all pieces of diamond jewellery carry the precise net weight and gross weight to determine an accurate, genuine price of the product.
A prevalent malpractice is that of not deducting the stone weight from the gross weight of the ornament. This means that customers are charged the gold price for the entire ornament while the weight of the stones used needs to be deducted.
Tanishq follows multi-level checks to achieve the highest accuracy of diamond weight captured into the product. Diamonds are weighed in their loose form before setting them into any design to ensure fair pricing.
