The enormous nose ring worn by the Dulhan is designed to resemble the shape of the moon. It is crafted in gold and embellished with kundan, pearls, rubies and other precious stones, and is said to reflect her family’s status.
Ayurveda has it that a piercing on the left side of the nose helps lessen pain during childbirth. The nath is also a symbolic blessing for the new bride on her journey towards motherhood.
A regal, neck-hugging ornament, the Dulhan’s choker is fashioned out of gold and precious stones.
The exquisite piece is designed keeping in mind that it is a reflection of the status of the bride’s family, and will always be cherished by her even after she settles in her husband’s home.
