The Sikh Bride

Traditionally attired in a pink salwar kameez with a dupatta draped over her head, the Sikh bride is enamoured with an elaborate and extravagant long and heavy raanihaar often crafted in gold. Adding flair to her traditional chooda, her wrist are adorned with simple gold bangles. Starry-eyed and in full faith, she is serenaded with the Anand Karaj while escorted to the mandap for the Laavaan that seals the couple’s bond forever.
